The french-produced live-action and animated science fiction film Immortal, directed by Enki Bilal, is based upon his comic book La Foire aux immortels (The Carnival of Immortals). Thomas Kretschmann delivered us a brilliant performance in his leading cast as Alcide Nikopol in one of the first major films beeing shot entirely on a digital backlot.
