The commune of Carnac lies a few kilometers north of the Quiberon peninsula, south Brittany. This small town of less than inhabitants is amazing because of its series of connected megalithic sites such as the alignment Ménec, the Kermario or Kerlescan.
Carnac, Brittany, France. I visited these ancient stone 'monuments' used by Druid Tribes of Bretagne (Brittany) on the northwest coast of France. "Les Alignements" are much larger in area than Stonehennge,UK. It is astonishing to think of how these huge rocks were transported and set in place centuries ago..before Modern Civilization.
Mane Braz is a Megalithic tomb located 2 km southeast of Erdeven, Brittany, France. The site comprises four side chambers and two small dolmens. It is built into a hill and appears to be the remains of a tumulus.
