Los coetáneos no la definían como una belleza clásica. Sus rasgos no eran lo suficientemente regulares, aparte de que poseía el característico labio inferior sobresaliente de los Habsburgo. Sin embargo, la combinación resultaba más que encantadora. Además, se distinguía por la fluída elegancia de sus movimientos y un gusto excelente. Todo eso la convertía en una muchacha fascinante ante cualquiera que pudiese verla.
