THE CLOUD TREE. New Creation 2020. Height: 4 m (157 inches)/ diameter 80 cm (31 inches). I imagine this new Volabile in response to the specific contraints of a stairwell (vertically, narrowness). The idea for these wall fittings came to Christel following the discovery of a strange instrument entitled a “conformateur”. This instrument is made up of small metal rods which slide on a central axis.
