Little Spines is a yearly publication containing stories and poems from the Creative Writing students from RMIT. My aim was to create a contemporary, stylish publication on a low budget. The style of binding I used (Japanese Stab binding) has an abstract resemblance to an actual human spine visually, and also shares many of its characteristics; being quite ornate and fragile, yet extremely crucial, and vigilantly holds everything together.

Les brochures et catalogues avec un design original ! - Inspiration graphique #7

"This and brochure design for local Pennsylvania attraction, Crystal Cave Park, is both stunning AND brilliant design. Well done Keith Lowe, well done." This is brilliant.

I love this design. It is minimalistic and structured which is two things i have been trying to achieve with my publication. I have been recreating elements of stepping in my designs, and wish to reflect this in my contents page too. It is great to see the underlying structure of this layout to help me do this.

I love the vibrant green color. I also love the transparent slip because it let's the green show through without being too in-your-face. The color and the logo make for a very elegant-looking design.
