The Last Kingdom.  I absolutely love this series!

The Last Kingdom series by Bernard Cornwell. This leaves out the two most recent books, Warriors of the Storm and The Flame Bearer.

3/26/16 The Last Kingdom (The Last Kingdom #1) by Bernard Cornwell (audio). A good piece of historical fiction about a boy growing up in England in the late 800s. Enjoyed the story and the way it was written - both the point of view and the actual writing.

Bernard Cornwell- The Last Kingdom; historical fiction fix. First book in the series and I can not stop reading them, completely hooked. Following Uhtred from one peril to another, the story is amazing. A must read.
