GREAT site for world-building map ideas! —The Cartographers' Guild — (image: The City Of Pyrus By TheHoarseWhisperer)

This map of the city of Pyrus was commissioned for use in a Dungeons & Dragons campaign. In designing the map, I was inspired by Italian medieval and Renaissance architecture.

This is also really cool, except I would want the script to be easier to read, and I would want the overall appearance of the map to be lighter. But I love the way the topography of the map is depicted.

The map depicts a fantastical country called Oakfall, a religious-throwback (compared to its neighbors) monarchy with quite shifty priest race, twin heirs to the throne and vassals with crumbly-loyalty.
