The concept, branding and design for Montreal’s Projet 67 take inspiration from the 1967 Internaltional and Universal Exposition (Expo 67). The logo—stamped in gold foil on the restaurant’s printed materials—takes its geometric shape from the USA pavilion. Then, with updates in the color palette, the design aesthetic follows the International Typographic Style, which was still popular but coming to a close at the end of the 1960s. — DUNCAN ROBERTSON #branding #identity #duncanrobertson
