Memorable for evil, Nuremberg defendant Julius Streicher, anti-semitic editor of Der Sturmer, did not take part in the Holocaust, but over 25 years, he wrote and preached a constant diatribe that "infected the German mind with the virus of anti-Semitism", inciting the murder and wholesale extermination of Jews on racial grounds. Journalists today who spew constant hatred about their fellow humans should take heed of this lesson from history.(km)
