The Spotted Lake is in the Okanogan Valley, BC Canada. In winter it looks normal but in  summer the water evaporates revealin multi-colored spots of various sizes across the lake bed ... it's just a rare natural phenomenon. Spotted Lake is a saline endorheic alkali lake, which means it's got a high pH, it's salty n it doesn't drain out anywhere. It also contains large amts of a lot of different minerals which form deposits when the water dries up, creatin the weird spotted effect.
