Moor Sands, Prawle Point, South Devon  Between Salcombe and Dartmouth, the sublime coastline of Prawle Point is the most southerly point in Devon, boasting dozens of secret beaches and sunbathing spots. During summer, it’s a joy to peruse the rock pools for wildlife, as bright blue butterflies flutter in the distance and buzzards circle overhead. Devon, the line heading to Cornwall. Train rounding the cliffs, heading toward the Dawlish sea wall. One of the best train journeys in the uk. The tracks hug the estuary of the Exe river, then go along the edge of the beach for several miles. Must be an old pic~ thats a steam train. The cliffs are red from the high percentage of iron in the rock.
