Poland. Monument to the Paratroopers near Sokołów is a concrete memorial to the Polish and Soviet paratroopers, located about 3 kilometers north-east from Klempicz and 1.5 kilometers south of Sokołów, in the Annogóra forestry area, close to a lonely farm called Brzeg. The monument is dedicated to the paratroopers who operated within the Notecka Forest in 1944. It stands at their landing site on September 7, 1944. The author of the project was Jerzy Sobociński in 1974.
