Rectangular in plan, the new building has a sculptural envelope made of white stucco panels in varying shapes. Largely opaque, the facades have angular cutouts that bring slivers of daylight into the building.
This cabin is called Cabin Vindheim and can be found in a secluded Alpine forest in Norway. The design was inspired by snowbound cabins that have just their roof peeking through huge drifts of snow. The roof also doubles as a manmade ski slope!
