Nattes twist outs

Dreads have been a prominent hair style in a variety of African ancestral communities ( Black Community in the United States, Island countries such as Trinidad, Jamaica, St. Lucia, etc.). This however as crazy as it sounds can be offensive to those who are non-black and often white as being too "ethnic" or "ghetto". That it doesn't fit the clean and socially acceptable look. There has even been instances in which kids with dreads would have their hair cut by teachers to look more appropiate.
