DIY Ring-A-Lings: Created by painting a metal washer with nail polish. Start with a base coat of white or yellow. Add colors, letting each coat dry before painting on top of it. Top the finished design with a protective coat of clear polish.
Great project for first day of class. Give each student a pice of gridded paper. Color in one of the squares with a design then pass on to the next person to fill in the next square. Use Crayola watercolor pencils or markers on vellum.
Thema Kunst: Most projects like this use glue to hold the yarn. You have to let the glue dry before you can start coloring. This project starts with notched cardboard, so you can start coloring the foil immediately.
