Purple Haze is a mix of linen and cotton in a Panama weave with a West African-inspired pattern of vertical stripes in magenta and indigo, intersected by horizontal rows of white dots on a purple background. The design is inspired by Nigerian weaves, but the decision to print the motifs of slender ikat and dots instead of weaving them gives it a stronger Asian flavour.
