2000 canoe and kayak flottant dans l'Adirongdacks - US

Hermann Gadner was an Austrian cross country skier who competed in the 1930s. He won a bronze medal in the 4x10km at the 1933 FIS World Ski Championships in Innsbruck. Here he is with Rhona and Rhoda Wurtele, identical twins from Quebec, Canada. Together, Rhona and Rhoda made up the entire 1948 Olympic Women’s alpine ski team for Canada. This photo was taken in 1943 in British Columbia. I’m not sure about Hermann but Rhona and Rhoda are still alive and skiing in their 80s.
