This is Elsa Peretti’s La Torre, a 16-century watchtower in Tuscany. She purchased the ruin in the 80’s and had the famous Milanese architect Renzo Mongiardino do the interior decor. This fireplace is cast after one of the gaping grotesques in the Baroque 16th-century Bomarzo gardens. WOWEE, right?!
