Antique Art Deco fireplace in Arabescato marble - Marble

This antique Art Deco style fireplace was made in the 1930s. The veins of the Arabescato marble add movement to this fireplace with pure and straight lines. Carved panels adorn the jambs and the frieze which also decorated with very fine moldings. This fireplace is sold without any fireplace insert nor marble floor but could be made to order.

Toubiana sought the winning team of the Deauville competition in 1921. Charles Adda and the important ceramists Bourdet and Gentil built the famous Planches de Deauville and the Pompeian Baths, which were inaugurated in 1924. The glass mosaic with silver leaf of these sinks was thus made by Bourdet and Gentil, on the drawings of Adda.
