Fritz Lang. One of the greatest directors of the 20th Century. Metropolis, The Testament of Dr. Mabuse, M, Fury, You Only Live Once, Scarlet Street, Hangmen Also Die, Clash by Night, The Big Heat, and While the City Sleeps, among many more. Science Fiction, Suspense, and of course Film Noir might have existed without Lang but they would be less if they hadn't had his original, witty and slightly creepy vision.
