The Greatest Street Photographers Of All Time

French street artists JR and Marco constructed this large, illegal public exhibition they called Face 2 Face on both sides of conflict-stricken Palestine and Israel. The project consisted of taking and posting giant portraits of Palestinian and Israeli citizens on both sides of the wall that separate the cities. The artists' use of something as simple as a humorous portrait to humanize two groups of people who see the other as less than human, makes this  one of my favorite social pieces.
