The East Providence Historical Society collects artifacts and memorabilia relative to the history of East Providence and any portions of adjacent towns that have been part of the city. The Society wants its citizens to be more aware of their heritage and to value the preservation of what bears witness to the past. The John Hunt House, a city-owned, 18th century five-bay Georgian building, houses the Society’s collections.
