This image, the first to be released publicly from VISTA, the world’s largest survey telescope, shows the spectacular star-forming region known as the Flame Nebula, or NGC in the constellation of Orion (the Hunter) and its surroundings.

Eridanus Super Void is known as a cold spot. Because the universe is constantly expanding, when you exit the void you will have entered into a medium that is less dense than the medium from before the void. Lower density means weaker gravitational pull, which means you won't be able to make up all the energy you lost. Less energy translates to a lower temperature, thus the cold spot (mmn.com). The supervoid is said to stretch 1.8 billion light years across.
