Trubia A4. This 1930s Spanish design was based on the Renault FT.  It had an improved track system, an innovative turret that allowed two machine guns to operate independently, and removed the steering "tail."  They were produced in small numbers (less than 30) and saw some service with both sides in the Spanish Civil War.  Despite improvements over the FT, they were slow, and crew and engine compartments were not separated, making operation almost unbearable for the three-person crew.

Based on the Renault FT, the Trubia vehicles were indigenous attempts at making a local-built tank.
