Train accident - The Montparnasse derailment occurred at 4 pm on 22 October 1895 when the Granville–Paris Express overran the buffer stop at its Gare Montparnasse terminus - Paris, France

The famous "Oops" photo, well known on the internet was a loco and train No56, that had a failure of it's Westinghouse compressed air brake, and broke through the wall of Montparnasse station, and fell onto the Place de Rennes, in Paris, on October 24, 1895.
