The Reeves's pheasant (Syrmaticus reevesii) is a large bird endemic to China. It has some of the longest tail feathers of any bird species. Due to ongoing habitat loss and overhunting for food and its tail plumes, the Reeves's Pheasant is evaluated as Vulnerable. There are thought to be only around 2,000 of these birds remaining in the wild. | by sparky Ian Clarke
