These two fantastic quilts were made by Lyn from What A Hoot for her hairdressers children. Great colors and the incorporation of the big brother elephant on the baby girl's quilt is precious! #Aurifil 40wt was used for quilting for that extra durability to endure lots of love! A simple and lovely quilt by Mary from Molly Flanders using Pellon wool batting to create this one of a kind quilt for Miles. "I quilted with large 3" loops [with #Aurifil thread]. Using the seam for the name strip as my bottom edge guide, I placed a piece of masking tape 3 inches above that seam. My niece, Mary, welcomed a baby boy into the world last week.
