Slave Lodge-Old Supreme Court c1925    The slave lodge looked nothing like the building we see today - it is a bit misleading in that regard. The building fabric dates from slave times but in 1815 the architect Thibault totally refaced it to suit a new purpose - the Cape's Supreme Court.    This is the Adderley Street facade in the early 1920s. The building stuck out into Adderley Street at that time.
