1932 Boeing Peashooter - This was the first all metal fighter plane and the first pursuit monoplane to be used by the US Army Air Corps. This plane pushed out 600 HP, but quickly became an obsolete airplane. Only 151 made
Curtiss Warhawk - the plane renowned for it's duty flights in China with the Flying Tigers squadron. The Warhawk was used by most Allied powers during World War II, and remained in frontline service until the end of the war.
Mikoyan-Gurevich was a Soviet interceptor and fighter aircraft used during World War II. It had been designed for high-altitude combat but combat over the Eastern Front was generally at lower altitudes where it was inferior to other Soviet fighters.
