It& time for another edition of The Comfort of Thingy-ness?(check out Vol I/II/III/IV)! I& come across a plethora of awesome book covers, and wanted to share. What have been some of your recent favorites? Comment away!

We tried loads of photographic approaches for this cover before arriving at this. I created this illustration as a last-minute entry to the Cover Meeting, and amazingly it ended up being the finished jacket.  Here's the finished cover, plus a close-up of the illustration.

'Jaws' from the Penguin Horror book series by Tom Lenartowicz  I'm a big fan of minimal design for book covers. Most of the letters being underwater like a shark and the top of the 'A' being out like a fin is very clever and effective.
