The navies of Venice and Genoa RESCUED THE OTTOMAN ARMY AND CARRIED IT TO SAFETY IN TURKISH-HELD EUROPE! Also, the small, landlocked blue enclave in the West Anatolian mountains? That was PHILADELPHIA.  Philadelphia held out for 60 YEARS!
