British R class battleship, built between 1914 and 1916, sunk at her moorings in Scapa Flow, on 14 october 1939, by the German U-boat U47 The wreck, seen in the lower view, still lies upside-down at the bottom of Scapa Flow, and still holds the remains of over 800 of the crew who perished in the sinking.
