I think of the entryway of a home sort of like a first impression. It’s the first thing your guests see when they’re welcomed in, so I like to make these spaces feel bold and full of character when I can. So, in this house, I used cement tile and wood planks and had them installed in an interesting pattern. I love the idea of mixed medium floors because they really give you the opportunity to bring in more colors, patterns, and textures than using one on its own. -★-
