LIGHTING TEXTILE CONCEPT by KOIZUMI ILDC Lamina Lumo is an incredibly thin light emitting textile. The diffusor is made from embossed paperesqe material. The textured membrane embeds functionality as well as a reference to old techniques of paper making, juxtaposed to high technology. Lamina uses minimal materials but is designed to be memorably valuable by appealing to our sense of returning to simpler, honest objects.

Okum Studios - Lamina Lumo is an incredibly thin light emitting textile that potentially could be manufactured in rolls or sheets. It uses advances in LEDs and leverages traditional materials to reinterpret the way we light our spaces.
